  • Why DIMENSION PLUS

Because BIM in India is mostly treated as software, not a system

Most BIM failures we see in Indian architecture and AEC firms are not technical.

They happen because BIM is introduced as a tool - trained, templated, and deployed - without designing the system around it.

When BIM is treated as software, firms end up firefighting.

When BIM is treated as a system, outcomes become predictable.

    That difference matters.

Why DIMENSION PLUS

Our belief: BIM is a Capability, not Just a Deliverable

BIM does not work because a model exists. It works when decisions, workflows, and responsibilities are clear.

People, process, and technology must evolve together. Remove any one of them, and BIM eventually breaks.

Tools like Archicad and any other enables BIM — they do not guarantee it.

Why we work this way

We are often called in after things have already gone wrong.

  • Heavy files.
  • Inconsistent outputs.
  • Coordination breakdowns.
  • Teams doing the right things, in the wrong order.

Over time, we learned that quick fixes create fragile systems.

Doing BIM properly feels slower at the start - and dramatically more stable later.

This is the trade-off we consciously choose.

What we don’t do - by design

We deliberately do not:

  • Promise instant BIM maturity,
  • Sell Archicad Templates without understanding workflows,
  • Treat Archicad Training as Implementation,
  • Or Implement BIM without Leadership Involvement.

These are not limitations.
They are Boundaries Shaped by Experience.

Who this approach is for

DIMENSION PLUS works best with firms that:

  • Want Repeatable and Predictable BIM outcomes,
  • Are tired of Recurring project-level Issues,
  • And see BIM as a Long-Term Organisational Capability.

If you are looking for quick solutions or checkbox BIM, we are probably not the right partner - and that’s intentional.

How we  begin the engagements usually

We don’t start with solutions. We start with understanding.

A conversation, A review, A clear look at how things actually work today.

From there, the right next step becomes obvious.

For firms evaluating a deeper engagement, we share our working approach in more detail.
