BIM has become Industry Standard

“What new technology does is create new opportunities to do a job that customers want done.”
– Tim O’Reilly

BIM is that technology, which can help you do a project, more than what the customer wants – with the same existing team.

BIM Technology for AEC Industry is able to answer three basic needs of a business leader – Productivity (inside design studio), Communication (with clients and on site) and Control (over how the design is going to get build).

Productivity

Have you ever calculated the amount of time, your team has to spend, for updating all the drawings for a small design change ?

BIM technology focuses on elimination of repetitive tasks by your team. The current CAD + 3D workflow is fragmented and forces your team to update multiple drawings and 3D separately. This results in Human Errors and Time Loss. Moreover, the current workflow is also highly inter-dependent, design teams waste approximately 18% of time waiting for colleagues to update drawing and share with them to update Section or Elevation or 3D. BIM is based on a concept of one change reflects everywhere. One design change in any drawing will update all other drawings and 3D as well as Schedules. The feather in the Crown is Archicad, a BIM Software with Graphical User Interface. Every change is instantly seen, this saves a lot of productive time, during the day. You can do more than expected without spending more time or adding more people to the team.

Communication

Design Communications with Clients are always in 3D, the reason is known to all of us. The process of making 3D is pretty outdated and dependent on the 2D Drawings. Also, it is often seen, the link between drawings and 3D de-establish once rendering is done. Both 3D and Drawings are updated differently. How much time is your team spending on communicating with a Freelancer for your rendering needs ? How much time do you spend waiting for getting the 3D Rendered image ? What happens when you see the rendered outcome is not according to the latest design change? The cycle keeps going endlessly. We don’t actually calculate this time – its like car manufacturers do not calculate losses due to Raw Material Delay. The cherry on the cake with BIMx is sending a file on site which can be viewed (view only) on Mobile Devices, that too with all the drawings and 3D. Archicad exports 3D with all the drawings to BIMx with just one click for communication.

Control

Controlling execution process and cost/time overrun can be an added revenue for any Design and/or Design and Build practice. The ability to talk to onsite contractor or worker from within your BIM software can be a boost to your team’s productivity. The workflow is straightforward and effective. Your team creates a BIM file using Archicad and exports the same to BIMx using BIMCloud connection. The result of this will be a BIMx file on Contractor’s Mobile device on site with a message functionality – these messages will directly appear inside Archicad window and the action taken on them (revision, correction) can be pushed back with just one click. The contractor on the other hand doesn’t have to download the entire model again – just the changes appear. This let’s you be in total Control – no stake holder can claim referring old version of drawings, not understanding the details (3D is always available) or not being able to ask questions to your team.

Why would you not choose, when you can?

Archicad, the BIM Software for Architects and Interior Designers is available since 1984.

Archicad is flexible to be used on Windows & Mac both Operating systems.

Archicad is flexible to be purchased as Perpetual or Term Based and now you can even rent it to own it.

Archicad is flexible to export/import dwg, PDF, Max, IFC and even Revit files.

Still believe that a “software” or “file type” from one company
can be “industry standard” ?

Well, there are Architects who don’t believe that!!

Meet a couple of creative minds who have understood
the benefits of BIM over that flawed ‘Industry Standard’ misbelief.

Are you Ready Khozema Chitalwala For Software built by Architects 2

Built by Architects

Designed by architects for architects, Interior Designers and Urban Planners. Archicad addresses the desire for great design without compromising on practical needs. Archicad revolutionized architectural design when it was launched in 1984!

Starting from an intuitive user interface to tool settings and documentation processes, Archicad will make you feel the “touch of an architect” while you interact with the software. It makes one feel natural to work with Archicad, build a digital twin of your building virtually.

Are you Ready Manish Doshi For open collaboration

Open Collaboration

Does the BIM software used in your office forces you to export one type of files only ? Well, its not BIM then. BIM means open data readable by other software.

When it comes to communication between various consultants, you need freedom to send data seamlessly in the file format they want and not what you use.

Improve your process with seamless collaboration, transparency, quality assurance, and accessible data, ready to be shared to all project participants.

Archicad lets you export to various file formats as well as open standard IFC files, the data will be readable by all other BIM software.

Are you Ready Ajay Tonpe For a Cloud you can Trust low 1

A Cloud You Can Trust

GRAPHISOFT’s BIMCloud is appreciated for fast, efficient, and secure access to shared Design and Build projects in real-time, regardless of the size of the project, the location of the offices, or the speed of the Internet connection.

GRAPHISOFT BIMCloud lets you work seamlessly between Archicad in your design studio and BIMx on construction site, now don’t miss any message from the site and track all the changes in a secure environment on a cloud of your choice.

Are you Ready Vistasp Metha For Integrated Design 3

Integrated Design

Archicad lets you create a digital twin of the entire building with the powerful toolkit. Architectural Model, Structural Analytical Model and MEP Model comes out of the box with Archicad 24 and can be shared between architects and engineers in one collaborative environment.

Work smarter with all stakeholders of the AEC industry within Archicad or federating the BIM model using a secure BIMCloud environment. GRAPHISOFT made integrated design possible with Archicad 24, we already achieved something which our competitors are just talking about for half-decade.

Are you Ready Shachi Manal Flexible Licensing 1

Flexible Licensing

All BIM benefits along with ease of use come with more affordable owning options. Archicad lets you chose how you procure the software license. Unlike other BIM Software for which users complain about lack of development for years, we are not just updating every year but also throughout the year.

Archicad is available as Perpetual Licenses and on monthly or annual terms allowing you to manage the balance of revenue vs expenditure and access the latest version of Archicad.

We are recognized for listening to our user’s needs constantly since 1984.

Please remember : More number of users does not mean “industry standard”.

(Nokia had many users, still it was not and is not
“Industry Standard”)

Customer Success woven with and around Archicad.
